National Association of Academies of Science
American Junior Academy of Sciences |

The National Association
of Academies of Science is an organization designed to foster the goals
held in common by the American Association
for the Advancement of Science and its member academies in accomplishing their own purposes. Thus, a purpose of NAAS is to serve its members by enabling them to work together toward common goals, but also when possible to assist their independent undertakings. The members of NAAS are regional organizations - organizations with their governance and operations largely if not entirely dependent upon the efforts of volunteers.
The NAAS and AJAS programs will be held, starting the day before, and as a part of, the
AAAS -- 2008 Annual Meeting and Science Innovation Exposition
