Physics 101 Term Paper Links
Spring 2006

Due Date: 3:30 pm April 19.

You must get topic approval from me, in writing, by Wednesday, March 1. For each day after that you will lose one grade increment. You will need to include a sheet that has your topic on it along with my signature and date when you turn in your paper. I am doing this to make sure that you have chosen a reasonable topic that doesn't cover lecture or textbook material. Please discuss with me if you have problems. For each day that your paper is late, you will lose one grade increment (I consider it to be late if it is turned in after 3:30 pm on the due date). I will not read your paper until you have turned it in for a grade, so please don't ask me to look at your rough draft. I will, however, discuss your chosen topic with you to help you understand it. I encourage you to start on your paper early so you have plenty of time to discuss it with me if you run into difficulties.

There is one slightly unusual option. You may do your term paper individually or you may do a group term paper with one or two other students that represents the work of your group of two or three people, maximum. Check the instructions found on the links below.
